It is with regret that Wadebridge Rotary announces that Wheels will not take place in 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Although the lockdown easing road map announced by the Prime Minister on 22nd February might mean that large scale events such as Wheels could go ahead as early as 21st June, this is by no means certain. The vaccination programme will still be underway throughout July, and there is a large vaccination centre at the Showground which it is reasonable to assume will still be doing vital work in the area where we hold Wheels.

The Royal Cornwall Show itself will occupy the whole Showground in August and September. Thereafter, the weather is likely to be unfavourable for classic vehicles and visitors alike.

We have therefore taken the decision not to go ahead with Wheels this year. This gives our exhibitors, visitors, traders and volunteers certainty (though not the type of certainty that we would prefer).

We intend to put together another online Wheels this year and to be back as a full event in 2022. Last year we had photos of classic vehicles; do any of our exhibitors and visitors have other ideas for 2021? Please let us know at:

“Wheels Classic Vehicle Show” – for Classic cars, motorcycles, commercial vans/lorries, agricultural, tractors, steam (mobile & stationary) and military alongside trade and autojumble stands, catering facilities, children’s play area and entertainments on stage. We'll be back!
